The original article titled “Incidence, predictors, and mortality of in-hospital stroke after acute coronary syndrome in the Middle East” published in Annals of Clinical Cardiology, on pages 13-18, Volume 2, Issue 1, 2020,[1] is being retracted as due permission was not obtained to publish the study data, failure to disclose conflict of interest, and copyright issues regarding the data ownership. Such publications violate the editorial policy of Annals of Clinical Cardiology, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors.

After investigation the journal editorial board and Editor-in-Chief have decided to retract the article.
